Lighthouse for the Blind & Low Vision Assistive Technology Specialists provide technology services to our veterans who are blind or have low vision. These services are designed to help visually impaired veterans regain independence in the home and in the community, enhancing their quality of life. Services include:

The Lighthouse for the Blind & Low Vision employes staff who are certified with the ACVREP CATIS certification and oversee technology services. Upon completion of training, veterans can independently use technology such as mobile phones, computers, tablet devices and low vision aids to communicate with family and friends, schedule appointments, manage finances and pursue their hobbies and other interests, thereby increasing their feelings of satisfaction, independence and self-sufficiency.
